Record when and where the issue was reported.
Ask for the booked accommodation to be supplied.
Ask for any proposed remedy in writing.
Keep calm, factual notes of every conversation.

Keeping a calm, factual record protects you either way. If the accommodation matches its description, nothing is lost by having asked.
